The Visia system provides you with an in-depth analysis of your skin.
It works by capturing a series of images and measurable information of your skin features. The system will not only highlight visible problems but also the unseen and underlying problems that cannot be seen with the naked eye. It provides an assessment of your skin and has the ability to zoom in for a close examination of fine detail.
Among the variables that contribute to the overall condition of your complexion, the imaging system will assess the eight which are key to the analysis:
- Wrinkles (both fine and deep)
- Spots
- Pore size (and open pores)
- Skin tone variations and texture
- Bacteria
- Ultra Violet spots (indicators of sun damaged skin)
- Brown spots (pigmentation, hyperpigmentation, melasma and moles)
- Red areas (inflammation, acne, broken capillaries and rosacea)
The Visia takes one set of images of the face from left, right and front facial views. The complexion analysis software then separates the unique colour signatures of red and brown skin components for accurate visualisation of conditions such as rosacea, spider veins, hyperpigmentation and acne.
The image and data capture takes just a few minutes and produces a customised report with recommendations of what treatments and clinical home care treatments will improve the condition of your skin.
The images and data are also referred to during subsequent review appointments as they provide an accurate comparison to demonstrate improvements to the skin.
