VelaShape™ Treatment
What conditions and areas can be treated with VelaShape™?
VelaShape™ has been brought into the Beauty industry to tighten, lift and tone the body without resorting to surgery. VelaShape™ is a fast and safe way to improve cellulite and reshape the body through circumferential reduction in the thighs, buttocks, stomach and arms.
How does VelaShape™ work?
VelaShape is one of the new non-surgical and non-invasive medical solutions to have proven results. The concept behind the treatment is called "elos". This is a combination of energies that reduce the volume of the tissue and improve the appearance of the skin. This is achieved by heating the fatty tissues in the problem areas.
VelaShape™ uses vacuum and tissue manipulation to even out the skin, breaking apart the groups of fat cells and targets the fat tissues. It encourages a chemical reaction that takes place in the deeper layers, making the fat easier to metabolize which helps to shrink the fat and reveal a smooth and tighter figure.
The Treatment
Before the treatment takes place the client will have a full consultation with our Clinician, who will discuss what is to be expected and go over any worries or concerns that they have.
The treatment involves being assessed, weighed, and measured. Pictures will be taken at the first treatment, to analyse and record the problem areas. The client will then be made comfortable on the couch and the treatment will start.
The Clinician will apply a lubricating spray which helps to glide the machine's hand piece over the problem areas. The machine's hand piece will be worked over the area being treated until the surface and deeper layers are warm. Each area will be worked on until the Clinician is happy. The area will then be wiped clean and the treatment is then complete.
What should be expected from VelaShape™?
From the first treatment clients should see an improvement in the skin and the treated area. It should feel tighter, smoother and firmer. Results in cellulite reduction or body reshaping should be visible 6 - 8 weeks post final treatment session. Maintenanace treatments are usually recommended every 1 - 3 months to maintain optimum results.
Is the treatment safe?
The VelaShape™ treatment is a very safe procedure, although like any treatment there is always a small risk of complications. The Clinician will discuss this with each client in their consultation and address any concerns or worries they might have.
