Eyes by Thermage^™

Intense pulsed light (IPL) uses light energy to heat the hair follicles leading to a permanent hair reduction. It’s quick, effective, safe and works best on darker hair types.

Dermal fillers for facial and lip enhancement

Absolute Aesthetics uses Restylane^® Hyaluronic acid fillers – which is a natural substance normally present in the skin – it helps the skin stay hydrated, firm and young.

Prices are per syringe – often only one is needed per treatment but sometimes two or more syringes may be necessary to get the desired effect. You will be advised before you have to commit to how many
syringes you might need.

You can also split your treatment into several visits if you wish.

N.B. For best results for ‘turkey neck’ this might need to be combined with muscle relaxing injections into the ‘bands’.

Muscle relaxing injections for facial wrinkles

The effect of each treatment usually lasts 3-6 months. With repeated treatments, the lines become softer and smoother and the skin looks younger and less tired.

Muscle relaxing injections for excessive underarm sweating

Using very fine needles, a dilute solution of botulinum toxin is injected into the skin of the underarm. The toxin binds to the nerve that controls sweating in the skin and reduces all sweating in the area for 4-12 months.

Sculptra^™ restores volume of sunken areas such as skin creases, wrinkles and folds caused by natural ageing and also tightens the tissues giving a ‘lift’. The results have been shown to last over 4 years.

IPL – Skin rejuvenation/Red veins

Intense pulsed light (IPL) uses light energy. It is a non-surgical treatment for various skin conditions such as scars, pigmentation (caused by age or over-exposure to the sun) fine lines, wrinkles
and skin texture.

Consultation and patch test £45 – This will be deducted from any subsequent IPL treatment arising from the consultation. Prices of treatment will be advised during consultation and depend on the area to be treated, extent and number of treatment sessions.

Skin treatments using the Sterex SX-B electrolysis machine

Advanced cosmetic procedures with electrolysis can treat conditions
usually only treated by laser or surgery. Electrolysis causes no scars
and can be performed with local anaesthetic if needed.

Mole screening & assessment

Using high resolution imaging, this dermoscope can be used to examine and observe moles – giving an indication of the risk of a mole. Our experts can then advise and arrange removal if required.
