Cosmetic injections the ‘next disaster’ - A response by Absolute Aesthetics

Articles featured in the press on January 3rd will obviously cause concern for people who are considering facial injectables.

Absolute Aesthetics would like to assure our patients that we use a small selection of approved prescriptive products for the treatment of facial lines and wrinkles (dermal fillers and Botulinum Toxin) and these are all sourced from a reputable Pharmacy on a prescriptive basis.

The fillers used at Absolute Aesthetics are Restylane products by Q-Med which are hyaluronic fillers and are non-permanent. We also use Sculptra which is a poly-L-lactic acid often referred to as the liquid face lift. Both of these products are well researched with excellent and proven safety profiles.

All of our Aesthetic Practitioners are fully insured and have received the appropriate training.  The injecting techniques and products are reviewed with suppliers on a regular basis.
