As the skin ages, collagen production slows down and the skin starts to lose it's natural plumped up, voluminous appearance. As the neck area below the chin starts to lose this collagen it can become lose and take on a 'baggy' like appearance, similar to that seen on a turkey – hence the phrase 'turkey neck'.

Botox - Botulinum Toxin
A very popular treatment used to treat wrinkles of the forehead and around the eyes. Botulinum Toxin is injected in very small amounts to temporarily paralyse the muscle and prevent them from overworking. When injected in smaller doses,spread into more locations, Botulinum Toxin gives a more natural appearance, retaining a natural looking appearance whilst reducing wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers
Injecting a Hyaluronic acid filler is particularly useful to improve the appearance of facial line e.g. nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to corners of the mouth). Fillers can improve the look of ageing faces,lips,hands and neck by giving a more 'plumped up', natural and younger look. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin which keeps water.
Thermage Skin Tightening
Thermage is a non-surgical procedure that is completely non-invasive with no downtime. It is a skin tightening procedure that is used for tightening and lifting the face, eyes, arms and stomach. The tip of the Thermage machine emits a radiofrequency energy which produces heat in the skin. This causes immediate tightening of the collagen both in the skin and in the underlying layers. Over time, usually 3-6 months, new collagen will form which will enhance and cause further tightening of the skin.
