Lipoma

About Lipoma

A Lipoma is a soft, fatty lump that grows just under the surface of the skin.  They are not attached to the skin and if pressed, they can move slightly under the skin and occasionally an edge can be felt.  They vary in size and usually become noticeable when they are the size of a pea.  If left, they can grow in size and become quite large.  They are harmless and can usually be left alone.
