About Facial Volume Loss
As the face ages and the skin stops producing and starts to lose the collagen that naturally gives it a 'plumped up' voluminous appearance, the skin starts to 'hang' on the face. This reduction in collagen, coupled with the natural effect of gravity can result in jowls and deep lines and creases on the face.

Dermal Fillers
Injecting a Hyaluronic acid filler is particularly useful to improve the appearance of facial line e.g. nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to corners of the mouth). Fillers can improve the look of ageing faces,lips,hands and neck by giving a more 'plumped up', natural and younger look. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin which keeps water.
Sculptra
Sculptra is a deep dermal injectable treatment that stimulates the body to produce its own collagen. The resulting plumping effect caused by the collagen gives a natural and subtle 'lift' which smoothes out facial lines and wrinkles. It also restores lost facial volume, gradually giving a fuller, younger looking face. The results have been shown to last over 4 years.
