Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra

About Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra

Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra is a common disorder which develops on black and asian skin types, normally in adolescence.  The lesions are identical to seborrhoeic keratosis (see www.seborrhoeickeratosis.co.uk).  They are smooth, dome shaped brown papules which are most commonly found on the neck, face and upper chest.  They are harmless but very often cosmetically unattractive and if left untreated can grow in size.
