About Body Hair
Hair that grows on areas of the body other than the head. Apart from the obvious places, as we age, hair can start growing in areas in areas where it was not previously present eg. for women the upper lip and chin area.
Treatments for Body Hair

Electrolysis
Electrolysis is a medically approved form of permanent hair removal. It works by passing a small electrical current via a fine probe directly in to the hair follicle, producing heat which destroys the cell that produces the hair. More than one treatment is necessary as it is not always possible to remove the cell during the correct point in the hair growth cycle.
Laser hair Removal
All areas of the body can be treated. The most popular areas for women include legs, bikini line, underarms, arms, the chin and upper lip, whilst laser hair removal for men is proving a popular option for upper arms, backs and chests.
IPL
IPL means Intense Pulse Light. It is a non-laser form of light treatment that involves a very powerful light being emitted by a rapid pulse of flashes. These pulses are absorbed by the target structure in the skin - whether it is thread veins, unwanted hair or some other blemish - heating it and destroying it permanently.
