Laser Lipolysis
Laser lipolysis is a walk-in walk-out fat removal treatment which is performed under local anaesthetic and excellent at treating stubborn areas of fat on the body. A very small laser fibre is inserted into the fat through a 1 to 2mm incision in the skin. Rapid movement of the laser fibre in and out of the fat effectively breaks it down and it is then removed (aspirated) from the area.
LipoSonix
The LipoSonix systems use High Intensity Focused Ultrasound to destroy fat cells in the body. Ultrasound is used because it can pass safely through the skin without damaging it, focusing on destroying the fat underlying the skin by dissolving it. Over 6 weeks to 3 months, the body naturally removes the dead fat cells, resulting in the fat layer shrinking and reducing the treated area.
